Don't like carrying your laptop all day? Or just need to check your e-mail quickly? Dana has PCs you can use.
We have six public computers (2 in the front of the library and 4 at the back), and the Conference Room has one as well (just ask for the keyboard bag when you show up for your reservation). All of them have been recently upgraded and refreshed and offer access to all of our databases and journals, convenient printing, and unrestricted web access, as well as software including Microsoft Office 2019, EndNote 20, and StataSE 17. Additional software is accessible through AppsAnywhere.
New for Fall 2021, you no longer need to log in to use these computers. The default Dana Library user now has access to all software and websites. To protect your privacy and any documents you accessed, simply restart the PC when you're done: your history will be wiped and all changes reverted to a clean slate for the next person.
If you run into any trouble or think of software you'd like to see installed, just let us know.
