We are thrilled to announce that Denise Hersey has accepted the position of Director of Dana Medical Library at the University of Vermont. Currently the Director of the Lewis Science Library at Princeton University, she comes to us with 20+ years of academic library management and health science librarianship experience. Her first day will be August 3, 2020.
UVM Librarians Graham Sherriff, Daisy Benson, and Gary Atwood just recently had their instruction article, “Practices, Policies, and Problems in the Management of Learning Data: A Survey of Libraries' Use of Digital Learning Objects and the Data They Create,” (published in The Journal of Academic Librarianship), selected as one of the top 20 instruction articles published in 2019!
This year, Wednesday, April 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. UVM will host a full slate of events for this year’s "Earth Week" in honor of this historic day, which arguably remains the largest global teach-in in history.
