Instructional Services

Information Literacy and Evidence-based Practice Instruction

Dana librarians work with faculty to incorporate information literacy and EBM/EBP instruction into in-class activities, online modules, small-group consultations with students, student assignments, and overall course and curriculum design. Contact Gary.Atwood@uvm.edu to collaborate with a librarian.

Place Items on Reserve

Print Reserves have been paused for the Fall 2020 semester. You can still place items in Blackboard or COMET/VIC Portal.

Provide Students with Online Access to Library Resources and Services

Howe Library provides instructions for Integrating Library Services and Resources into Campus Blackboard (https://bb.uvm.edu) that will allow students easy access to online articles, journals, and databases. Using these links in other websites or emails will provide the same easy access. Consult with the LCOM Active Learning Team for help with links to library materials in the VIC Portal.
