Dana Medical Library now subscribes to e-Anatomy, an interactive online atlas of human anatomy

Date:
Monday, March 15, 2021

The library has recently started a subscription to e-Anatomy, an interactive online atlas of human anatomy. Explore over 6,700 anatomic structures through cross-sectional, gross, and radiological anatomy derived from various types of medical imaging, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) scans, radiographs, anatomic diagrams and nuclear images. Images are labeled using Terminologia Anatomica.

Designed primarily for radiologists, physicians, and medical imaging professionals to assist in interpreting radiological scans, e-Anatomy may also benefit medical students, nurses, and other professionals seeking a professional understanding of human anatomy. The quiz mode available in each module can help you learn the structures.

Our subscription also gives you access to the e-Anatomy iOS and Android apps. To use these apps, you will need to create a free account on the e-Anatomy website, sign into the app with the same credentials, and then access the app from UVM's wireless network or VPN at least every two weeks.

For more information and instructions, check out the e-Anatomy User Guide or brief Quick Guide.

e-Anatomy is available on the Dana Medical Library Research Databases web page. Contact your Dana Librarian with any questions. Ask Dana to speak to someone via chat, email, or phone.
